The 49th edition of the Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair is scheduled to begin February 9, 2012. Organizers of the five-day fair expect to accommodate 35,000 visitors and more than 1,200 exhibitors at the Impact Challenger Exhibition and Convention Center.The Fair is typically planned twice a year. The 48th edition, which was held in September, hosted 24 product category areas including pavilions for diamonds, colored stones and pearls. The event also features some 30 country pavilions
